This medicine is used for acne vulgaris (common acne).

कैसे इस्तेमाल करें

Wash the affected area clean and apply this medicine gently, patting it in, usually 1–2 times a day. Start with once a day (before bed); once the skin has adjusted, increase to twice a day (morning and evening).

इस्तेमाल से पहले

Do not use if you have inflammation, if you are or have been hypersensitive to this medicine, on skin that already showed irritation in a patch test, or on wounds or existing skin lesions. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if you have dry or oily atopic skin or eroded skin, if you are or have been hypersensitive to propylene glycol, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use together with other topical keratolytic treatments or cleansers. Use a mild facial cleanser (at most twice a day) and avoid cosmetics containing perfume or alcohol. Avoid sun exposure at the start of and during treatment, and use sun protection. Do not use UV lamps. Take particular care on fair skin or on delicate areas. For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth and other mucous membranes; if it gets in the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.

Do not use together with other topical acne medicines, including those containing vitamin A derivatives.

संभावित दुष्प्रभाव

If severe or persistent irritation appears, stop using it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Contact dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, severe scarring redness, temporary facial swelling, dermatitis, skin rash, irritation early in treatment (such as mild burning), redness or peeling later in treatment, bleaching of hair and coloured fabrics, and increased sensitivity to sunlight may occur. Sudden dryness and peeling may appear after 1–2 weeks; this peeling is a normal part of treatment and subsides within 1–2 days if you pause treatment.
